Willie Scott (Bill) Fraysier, 92, Midway Community, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Greenville Community Hospital.Bill was born July 14, 1932, to the late Charlie and Maxie Fraysier. He was a lifelong resident of Scott County. Bill retired from Holston Defense and was a member of Peters Chapel Church.He was a kind, generous man who touched the lives of so many people. He was known as a hard-working man who loved to farm.In addition to his parents, his wife, Mary Fraysier; sisters, Helen Fraysier Tipton, Nannie Fraysier, Opal Babb, and Cricket Wallace; brothers, Ed Fraysier, O.D. Frasier, Robert Fraysier, Jack Fraysier, WJ (Boo) Fraysier; and nephew, Ed Frasier preceded him in death.Surviving him is his sister, Mary Gillenwater; sister-in-law, Ethel Frasier; brother-in-law,Lee Wallace; nieces, Betty Kilgore, Connie (Charles) McDavid, Sue Cole, Robin (Randy)Simpson, Susie (Chester) Shell, Dorthy Donihe, Liz Dockery, Norma Castle, Brenda(James) Leach; nephews, Bob Frasier, Jeff Gillenwater, Rick Gillenwater, and Roger Fraysier.The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Corey Brooks officiating. Pine Grove Harmony will provide music.Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m., for the graveside service.Tim Williams, Allen Weddle, B A Clendenin, Michael Carrico, Javen Cole, Ronald Carter,and Blake Frasier will serve as pallbearers.
