Mona E. Williams, 72, Duffield, VA passed away, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her residence.
Mona was born on November 26, 1946 to the late Albert Cox and Ruth (Hubbard) Robinson.
Along with her parents, first husband Charlie Williams; second husband Jack Williams; brother, Jamie Cox preceded her in death.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ridgecrest Manor for over 30 years.
Surviving is her daughter, Angela (Robby) Wagner, Yuma, VA; sons, Charles Kenneth Williams, Duffield, VA, Paul Steven Williams, Duffield, VA, Robert Carter Williams, Duffield, VA; brothers, Steve Richard Cox (Gloria) Damascus, VA, David Albert Cox (Debbie) Bumpass, VA; grandchildren, Neal Wagner, Emma Wagner; special friend, Otis Qualls, Manville, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday August 23, 2019 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Dwayne Williams, and Rev. Adam Williams will be officiating. Pentecostal Powerhouse Singers will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Sloantown Cemetery Duffield, VA. Family and friends will be meeting at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. to go into procession to the graveside service.
