Jerry Wayne Williams, 70, Duffield, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Jerry was born in Sullivan County, TN, on December 16, 1951, and was the son of the late James Kermit and Lillie Sloan Williams.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Mack, Don, and Rickey Williams preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Jerri Ann Williams (Jon Hill), Gate City, VA, and Sheena Williams (Kenny), Morristown, TN; son, Russell Williams (Traci), Kingsport, TN; sisters, Linda Butler (Luther), Duffield, VA, Charlene Yates (Steve), Kingsport, TN, Lois Thornburg (Dwight), Fall Branch, TN; brothers, James Garland Williams, Weber City, VA, and Danny Williams (Judy), Gate City, VA; 6 grandchildren; special granddaughter, Christia Sandidge (fiancé) Jeremy Everett; special great grandson, Caiden Everett; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jackie Frazier officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Sloantown Cemetery, in Duffield, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
