William C. Hensley, 92, Blountville, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, athis residence.William was born in Scott County, VA, on June 30, 1933, and was the son of the lateWilliam Thomas Hensley and Clara Calhoun Hensley.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Christine Hensley; daughter, Kathy Barger Sanders;brothers, Arthur, James, Kelly, JP, and Thomas; and sisters, Mary and Virginia precededhim in death.Left to cherish his memory are his grandson, Brent Barger (Tracha); great grandson,Dalton; great granddaughter, Payton; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve friends from 11-1p.m., Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Andrew Memorial Chapel Community Church in Kingsport, TN. Services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., with Jerry Hensley, Randy McMillion, and Roy Leedy officiating. Oscar Vicars and the McMurray Brothers will provide the music.

Graveside services will follow at the Walnut Chapel Church Cemetery in the East Carters Valley community of Gate City, VA. Shannon Ball, Dalton Fleenor, Charles Sanders, Marvin Salyers, Hobert Lewis, Scott Salmons, and Brent Barger will serve as pallbearers.
