Thelma Jeanette (Brickey) Lambert White, Weber City, VA.

Thelma White, 93, of Weber City, VA passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Nova Health and Rehab.

Thelma was born in Scott County, VA on June 21, 1926 to the late John Brickey and Rose Robinson.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Hubert Otis Lambert; son, Hubert Otis Lambert, Jr.

Thelma was widowed at the age of 28 when her first husband, Hubert Otis Lambert from Stonega, VA suddenly died. She later married and divorced Carl White (deceased). Her oldest son, Hubert Otis Lambert, Jr. from Hubert Heights, Ohio who passed away on October 2, 2012; great-granddaughter, Brooke Bowders, passed away in July of 2014; twin sister, Jeanelle Ely, sister, Ruth Parsons; infant twin siblings, Doris and Delores Brickey; brothers, Miles Brickey, Maurice Brickey, Bill Brickey, Clifford Brickey, Frances Brickey all preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 children; Sue Caine, Weston, WV, Ann Lane, Kingsport, TN, Katherine Tignor, Duffield, VA, J.D Lambert, Lake Station, IN, Patricia Campbell, Portage, IN, Donna Grisham, Red Boiling Springs, TN and Sherry Gibbons, Colorado Springs, CO; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Brickey, Michigan, David Brickey, Michigan, Jack Brickey, Michigan, Irene Burke, Big Stone Gap, VA, Mary Bundy, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on September 14, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., at Gate City Funeral Home in Gate City, VA. A funeral service will follow in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gate City Funeral Home for private burial later.
