Serena Ann (Cindy) Walker, 39, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Centennial Medical Center.
A native of Kingsport, TN. She was the daughter of Patricia Ann Hale and David Farrell Wells.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth McDavid.
Survived by a son, Joshua Story, Smyrna, TN; daughter, Megan Walker, Smyrna, TN; mother and stepfather, Patricia and Jim Hall, Kingsport, TN; father and stepmother, David and Juanita Wells, Kingsport, TN; brother, David Mark Wells, New Jersey; maternal grandfather, Okley McDavid, Clinchport, VA; paternal grandparents, Lillian and Burley Wells, Duffield, VA; half-sister, Brandy Helton, Kingsport, TN; half-brothers, Kevin and Brandon Wells, both of Kingsport, TN; special niece, Elizabeth Wells, Duffield, VA; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Gate City Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Clark Jenkins officiating.
Burial will follow the services at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
