Violet Darlene Adkins, 84, Dungannon, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Violet was born in Wise County, VA on April 15, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Jess and Eura Fannon.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Rozis Adkins, and sister, Lucy Estepp preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Adkins and wife, Susan, granddaughter, Brittney Megan Dockery and husband, Cody, great-granddaughter, Rylee H. Dockery, her brother, Johnny Fannon and wife, Peggy, along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Banner Cemetery, Dungannon, VA with Brother Walter Taylor officiating, and the Meade family will provide the music.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends and friends are asked to meet at the Banner Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday for the graveside service.
