Tanner Keith France- Gate City, VA

Tanner Keith France, 39, Gate City, VA, was moved to Heaven by angels, Friday, July 25, 2025, at his parent’s residence.

Tanner was born in Kingsport, TN, on February 2, 1986, and is the son of Terry Keith France and Rebecca Leona (Bridges) France.

Preceding him are his paternal grandparents, Garland and Rose France, and maternal grandparents, Jasper and Jonnie Bridges.

Left to cherish and continue loving him are his parents, Terry and Becky France; son, Ethan France (Makenzie); daughter, Bailey France; brother, Hunter France; nieces, Adrianna and Layla France; lifelong friend, Michael Babb; and fur baby Bentley.

Tanner is an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed many years in God’s mountains hunting, fishing, and camping. Aside from being most proud of his children, he is proud of having the longest beard as he won contests in Bristol VA, 2 years running.

The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the First Baptist Church Gate City. Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., with Rev. Luke Tolley officiating.

Graveside services will follow at the Berry Family Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Michael Babb, Bill Spears, Mark Stanley, Will Humphreys, Luke Humphreys, and Brandon France will serve as pallbearers. Greg Mullins and Ricky France will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
