Steven Andrew “Andy” Sexton- Gate City, VA

Steven Andrew “Andy” Sexton, 34, Gate City, VA, went to be with the Lord on May 2^nd, 2024, while doing what his passion was “riding motorcycles.”

Andy was born on September 15^th, 1989, in Kingsport, TN, and was the son of Sharon Adams, and Wade Sexton. 

Andy loved to work on cars, and motorcycles. He loved his job at Hardees, in Colonial Heights as well as his co-workers. Andy loved taking leisure rides on his motorcycle with his fiancée “B”. 

Preceding Andy in death are his papaw, Cecil “Papaw” Sexton (Terry); loving grandmother, Linda Sexton; and loving little brother, Matthew Brent Adams. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving fiancée, Breigh “Leighanne” Sexton, brother of Joshua Sexton; two step-siblings, Ashley Adams, and Mickey Adams; two step-children, Kyra “Black Mouth” Larkins, and Ryder “Ry Fry” Jones, and their mother; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, especially Daniel Sexton and Joseph Mac-Riley. Two special friends, Donnie Hutchins (Summer); favorite mothers-in-law, Loretta Davis, and Brenda Hensley, and loving father-in-law, Joseph "Doc" Hensley; favorite grandmother-in-law, Shirley Aston; and a host of friends. 

Andy’s wishes were to be cremated; there will be a memorial motorcycle ride in honor of Steven Andrew “Andy” Sexton at a later date. The family asks that you keep in touch for a time and date as to when this will take place.
