Joan Rebecca Stacey, 68, Duffield, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joan was born in West Virginia on August 11, 1950 to the late Nick and Mabel (Gardner) Owens.
In addition to her parents, her sons, Richard and Robert Stacey; and brother, Jackie Hensley preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband, Gary Stacey; daughters, Faith Fritz and Shannon Stacey; sons, Kevin DeSpain, Buddy, DeSpain, Xavier Stacey, And Zackery Stacey; grandchildren, Ashley, Cylent, Destiny, Cheyenne, Mykayla, Kaycie, and Brittany, Nathaniel, Joshua, and Jadien; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Burgess; brothers, Bobby Daniels and Ishmal Hensley and wife, Edith; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Austin Frazier Cemetery, Scott County, VA with Rev. Jackie Frazier officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
