James (Jim) Lee Spencer

James Lee (Jim) Spencer, 52, Dungannon, VA went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 27, 2022, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
James was born in Tooele, Utah on June 11, 1969, and was the son of Maria (Veltman) and the late Teddy Monroe Spencer.
In addition to his father, Teddy Monroe Spencer, his stepsons, Justin Hall and Marty Hall, and brother, T.J. Spencer preceded him in death.
James is survived by his mother, Maria Spencer, sisters, Stephanie Garnett and Melanie Spencer, brother, Ed Spencer, wife, Debbie A. Spencer, stepson, Christopher Hall, Nephew, Alex Garnett, and grandkids, Nicholas Hall, Marie Hensley, Gavin Hall, and Devin Hall.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm., Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor James Mann officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 30, 2022, at the Spencer Family Cemetery, Dungannon, VA.
J. Fred Sluss, Alex Garnett, Gavin Hall, Devin Hall, Nicholas Hall, and Jamie Mann will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Monday for the graveside service.
The family would to thank Lisa Jessie with Holston Medical Group, Weber City, VA for her love and care of Jim.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home.
