Sidney “Sid” Collins, 60, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Sid was born in Kingsport, TN on July14, 1964 and was the son of the late Jack D. and Barbara (Gillenwater) Collins.

He was a graduate of Twin Springs High School, and was the Service Manager of Sunshine Auto Sales in Gate City, VA.

He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Becky Devine, Nickelsville, VA, daughter, Jennifer Elam and husband, Robert, sons, Daniel Devine, and Sierra, and Tyler Collins, grandchildren, Easton and Rilynn, brothers, Sam Collins and wife, Linda, and Steve Collins and wife, Sandy, best friends, John Devine, and Vernon and Mary Vanderpool, along with several nieces, nephews, and many other friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Gate City Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Minnie Lynn Bates, and Greg and Becky White will provide the music.
