Roger Allen Shupe, 46, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Shupe was born in Wise County, VA on June 12, 1962, a son of Emily Greear and the late Walter Allen Shupe.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a step brother, Marty Lee Greear.
Surviving other than his mother, Emily Greear, Gate City, VA are his daughters, Angel and Lavner Shupe, both Charlotte, NC, sons, Dustin and Chris Shupe, both of Trenton, GA, grandchildren, October Jasmine Shupe, Jada Davis and Hannah Macadence Shupe, sisters, Gladys Castleberry, Trenton, GA, Molly Castle, Norton, VA and Tess Richardson, Coeburn, VA, step sisters, Teresa Holt, Jennie Hill and Sandra Hensley , all of Norton, VA, step brothers, Emmitt Greear, Norton, VA, nephews, Jasper Castle and wife, Tyger, Norton, VA, J.J. Hicks, Pound, VA, Josh Castleberry, Trenton, GA and Austin Castle, Norton, VA and a niece, Amanda Castleberry, Trenton, GA.
A memorial service will be conducted, Friday, August 15, 2008 at 2p.m. at the Copper Creek Community Church with the Rev. Clayton Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Gate City Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Gate City, VA 24251.
