Shannon Joel Elliott, 59, Gate City, VA, passed away, Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Shannon was born in Sullivan County, TN, to Freda Carol Elliott and the late Jerry Mack Elliott.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Freda Carol Elliott; daughters, Tabitha Dingus (Mark) and Tess Shelton (Zac); brother, Marty Elliott (Kellieann); grandchildren, Graclyn Dingus, Jonas Shelton, and Sadie Shelton; special friend, Yvonne Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025, at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA, with Ed Clevenger officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15a.m., to go in procession to the graveside service.
