Shannon (Buck) Williams – Gate City, VA

Shannon (Buck) Brent Williams, 49, Gate City, VA went to his heavenly home, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerial and Kate Williams.

Buck loved Bristol drag racing, hunting, and definitely fishing. Give him a Mountain Dew, and a pole, and there he’d go. He loved spending time with his family and his childhood friends.

He is survived by his two sisters, Sherry Doran and husband, Conley, and Debbie Steadman and husband, Mike, nephews, Brian Doran and wife, Holly, Mitchell Steadman, nieces, Bridgette Quiggle and fiancé, Matthew Harris, and Delayna Pozeg and husband, Mike, along with many great nieces and  great nephews, and all of his great friends that would come by for a visit.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery, East Carters Valley with Rev. Mark Stapleton officiating.

Family and friends are asked to meet a Herman Cemetery at 2:45 p.m., for the graveside service.
