Sandy Gale Salling, 55, Gate City, VA passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was born in Troy, Ohio on October 11, 1969, to the late Marlin Howard Fisher and Sandra Sue Hughes

Sandy is survived by her husband, James Salling; daughters Heather and husband, Josh, Holly and husband, Mike; sister, Susie Bowen and husband, Lester; brothers, Daniel Fisher and wife, Marchel, and Gary Fisher; nieces and nephews, Brittany Shirks, Nick Fisher, AJ Bowen, Chelsea Baird.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Edens officiating. The Quillen family will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Salling Cemetery, Fort Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM for the graveside service.
