Amy Salling ? 36, of Ft. Blackmore, VA. went to be with the Lord October 18, 2008 at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Borned in Sullivan county, TN. on January 16, 1972, she is the daughter of Kathy Smith.
Amy is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Graham, maternal grandmother, Eva Irene Kestner and her uncle, Thomas Floyd Kestner.
Surviving is her husband, Phillip Wayne Salling, Jr. Ft. Blackmore, VA. three sons, Arrick Blevins of Kingsport, TN., Joshua and Peyton Blevins of Ft. Blackmore, VA. Her mother, Kathy Diane Smith and father, Ed Graham and grandfather, Smith Kestner of Kingsport, TN. Sisters, April Graham Whitt of Blountville, TN and Lisa Graham McDavid of Gate City, VA. Mother ?in ?law and father-in-law, Jeanette and Phillip "Bud" Salling Sr. of Ft. Blackmore, VA. Brother-in -law and sister-in law, Steven and Rosa Grizzle of Ft. Blackmore, VA. Nieces and nephews, Sylvanna Grizzle, Logan McDavid, Landon McDavid and Dustin Graham.
Family will receive friends at Gate City Funeral Home Monday, October 20, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Phil Kestner officiating. Music will be provided by James "Babe" Lawson and Patsy Hensley.
