Mamie was born in Scott County, VA on November 6, 1943 to the late Clyde and Clayley (Babb) Davis.
Husband, Luther Thomas Russell; sisters, Sylvia Jean Skeens, Linda Williams; brothers, Tommy Davis, Delmar Davis preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Brian Russell and Christy Jones (Fiancé), Kingsport, TN; sister Shirley Wolfenbarger, Kingsport, TN; brother, Danny Davis, Hiltons, VA; grandchildren, Emmitt Wayne, James Brian, Timmy Dale, Jasmine Marie; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday March 15, 2019 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawson Confederate Cemetery in Snow Flake Community. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
