Roy Lee Castle, 72, Dungannon, VA, passed away, May 3, 2023, at his residence.

Roy was born in Russell County, VA, on October 7, 1950, to the late Elijah Castle and Florence (Hicks) Castle.

Along with his parents, his wife, Carolyn (Gillenwater) Castle; and son, David Castle preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters, Martha Hall, Ft. Blackmore, VA, Nicole Fleenor, Dungannon, VA; son, Stacy (Heather) Castle, Nickelsville, VA; sister, Martha Garrett, Dungannon, VA; brother, Johnny Castle (Juanita), Nickelsville, VA; grandchildren, Devan Castle, Lakin Castle, Katlin Castle, Zackary Hall, Blake Hall, Destiny Hall, Elizabeth Hall, Aaron Castle, Bethany Castle, Connor Castle, Elijah Castle, Bravin Castle, Ethan Fleenor, Skylar Fleenor, and Zadin Fleenor; great-grandchildren, Keegan Castle, Trevin Hall, Finlee Hall, Mazelee Page, Xander Begley, Xavier Begley, Bradlee Begley, and one on the way; special friend, Scotty Hall, Dungannon, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00a.m., Friday, May 5, 2023, at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA, with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45a.m., for the graveside service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
