Roney Edward Peters, 84, Gate City, VA passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Roney was born in Gate City, VA on May 27, 1940, and was the son of the late Lucian Creed and Phoeba Little Dove (Bowen) Peters.

From a young age throughout his life, he was an avid Beekeeper.

Roney never met a stranger and was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Ray, grandson, Dalton Taylor, great granddaughter, Azlynn Taylor, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
