Roger Wade Marshall – Nickelsville, VA

Roger Wade "Dodger" Marshall, 61, of Nickelsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Roger was born on January 20, 1965, in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Marvin Paul Marshall and Nannie Lou Kilgore Marshall. He was a self-employed farmer whose strong work ethic reflected the life he lived.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny "Peewee" Marshall.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Roger "Peanut" Marshall; sisters, Teresa Coleman and Don Gibson, Nickelsville, VA, and Wilma Marshall, Nickelville, VA; brother, Glen Marshall; along with several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, Roger will be cremated. No formal services are planned at this time.
