Richard Milburn Chapman, 64, Duffield, VA, passed away, Thursday, June 27, 2024, at his residence. 

Richard was born in Sullivan County, TN, on September 9, 1959, to the late Richard Milburn Chapman, Jr., and Mildred (Perry) Chapman. 

Preceding him in death are his father, Richard Chapman, Sr., and mother, Mildred Chapman. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly Chapman; sons, Zachary and Luke Chapman; sister, Sherri McClain; brother, Travis Chapman; nieces and nephews, Alex McClain, Sarah Sweeny, TJ Chapman, Seth Chapman, Lynly Jones; and dogs, Rudy and Gretchen. 

Richards wishes were to be cremated; The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be conducted at 7:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
