Brenda Kindle Reed, 72, Gate City, VA passed away, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her residence.
Brenda was born in Sullivan County, TN on April 25, 1947 to the late Edgar Ralph and Elizabeth Dishner Kindle.
She was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. Brenda was of the Christian faith and a wonderful friend, and neighbor, to those she loved.
In addition to her parents, her brother, Eddie Kindle preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Rayford Reed, Jr., Gate City, VA; sons, Marty Reed, Coeburn, VA, Steve Reed, Kingsport, TN, Neal Reed and wife, Amanda, Kingsport, TN , Michael Reed and wife, Erica, Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Marsha Carroll and husband, Jeff, Yuma, VA; brother, Ronnie Kindle and wife, Debbie, Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Olivia Reed, Arabella Reed, Owen Reed, Zaylee Reed and Kai Reed; along with several nieces and nephews.
The Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA with Pastor Aaron Edens officiating. Jeff Carroll, Austin Carroll, Dallas Summers, Jack Smith, Mark Reed and Matthew Reed will serve as honorary pallbearers.
