Jackie Charles Quillen, 52, Kingsport, TN passed away at his residence Friday, June
22, 2007 after a brief illness.

Jackie was born in Kingsport, TN on December 25, 1954, the son of Elaine Culbertson
and the late James Edward Quillen.

He was employed with the Eastman Chemical Company for over thirty years.

In addition to his father, twin sisters, Sharon and Karen Quillen, paternal grandparents,
Nannie and Clarence Bradley, maternal grandparents, S.V. and Mallie L. Vermillion,
a nephew, Jerrod Boatright, and cousins, Ivan Vermillion and Jeff Wood, preceded
him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Quillen, Kingsport, TN, mother, Elaine Culbertson
and husband, Kelly, Gate City, VA, sisters, Wanda Dixon and husband, Charles, Bristol,
GA and Nancy Boatright and husband, Jerry, Surrency, GA, mother-in-law, Mildred
Quillen, Weber City, VA and several aunts and uncles, one niece, Lisa Chancey, two
nephews, Jamie Boatright and Josh Boatright and several great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the Gate
City Funeral Home and any time at the residence of Mildred Quillen. Funeral services
will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral
home with the Rev. Steve Collins and the Rev. Jim Holtsclaw officiating. Lisa Chancey
will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2007 at the
Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Tim Sprouse, Jeff Holt, Rick Pearce, Kris
Moody, Mark Wampler and Mike Lane will serve as pallbearers. Gene Harr, Steve Jones,
Rod McQue, Todd Brown, Chuck Herron, Roger Stratton, Randall Bishop, Grover Robinette,
Mike Wininger and Marcus Miller will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Sullivan
County Animal Shelter and/or to the Jeff Wood Memorial Fund, c/o Linda Hillman at
BB &T Bank, Nickelsville, VA.

The Quillen family wishes to express very special thanks to Jackie's co-workers
for all of their help, to Hospice for their care and to all of the family and friends
who helped so much.
