Phyllis Bowen Williams, 77, Duffield, VA passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.

Phyllis was born in Scott County, VA on February 25, 1948, the daughter of Luther Conley Bowen and Ella Mae Bowen.

In addition to parents, her husband, Lewis Williams and son, Luther Arnold Williams and grandson, Christopher Falin, and great granddaughter, Riley Jo Williams preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; sons, Ed Williams, Fred Williams and wife, Wanda, Leonard Williams and wife, Whitnee; sister, Connie Bishop; 12 grandkids and several great grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Gate City Funeral Home.

Burial will be conducted following the visitation at 2:00 p.m., at the Williams Cemetery, Duffield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
