Phyllis Ann Freeman

Phyllis Ann Freeman – Kingsport, TN Phyllis Ann Freeman, 86, Kingsport, TN passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living.

Phyllis was born in Sullivan County, TN. on December 7, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Morton Patton Baker and Bertha Quillen Baker.

She was a member of Washington Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Dungannon High School Class of 1954. In her early adult years, she worked as a dental assistant but was mostly a homemaker and stay at home mom.

In addition to her parents, her husband Carroll Clark Freeman; and sister, Linda Odle, preceded her in death. Mrs. Freeman is survived by ; daughters, Janelle Houser and husband, Rick, Birmingham, AL and Michelle Cartee and husband, Buddy, Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Ben Houser and wife, Rachel, Marilyn Roman and husband, Victor, Justin Houser and wife, Kourtney, and Pete Cartee and wife, Dena; great grandchildren, Brayden, Jack, Caleb, Roslyn, Amelia, Gemma, Emmy , Zayda; and sisters, Mary Ruth Sumner, Wanda Johnson, and Teresa Phillips; along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am. Monday, November 4, 2024, at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and Friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery at 10:45am
