Patti Sue Gillenwater, 65, Gate City, VA, passed away, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Patti was born in Kingsport, TN, on September 28, 1960, and was the daughter of the late Everett Marsh and Mary Francis (Perry) Marsh.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Caitlin Broseker (James); sister, Janie Reed (Henry); brother, Bill Marsh (Julia); niece, Sarah Fugate (Cory); and great nephew, Eli Fugate.

Patti’s wishes were to be cremated; a celebration of life will be held from 3-5p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home.
