Beulah Bowen “Boots” Page – Kingsport, TN
Beulah Bowen “Boots” Page, 82, Kingsport, TN passed away, Monday, May 25, 2020 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness.
Boots was born in Scott County, VA on December 14, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Campbell Bascom and Ella Elizabeth (Barnette) Bowen.
She was a 1956 graduate of Dungannon High School and Whitney Business College and was employed by Dr. Norman Propper as a medical secretary for thirty years and by Dr. L. Teaboldt for 10 years.
She had a love for cross stitching, knitting, and collecting baskets.
Formerly of Scott County, VA, she had resided in Kingsport, TN for the past sixty years. She attended Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church for several years, and presently attended Indian Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, her brother, Leon Bowen; and brothers-in-law, Duard Hackler, Roy Page, and Jim White preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Emory Tom Page; sister, Lorraine Hackler; brothers-in-law, Roger Page and wife, Sharon, Jackie Page and wife, Sherry, Randall Page and wife, Pam, and Harvey Page and wife, Jennifer; sisters-in-law, Sue Bowen, Miranda Nottingham and husband, Jim, Rita Page, Joyce White, and Marietta Bausell and husband, Kent; special friends, Jean Mosca, Lisa Marsha, and Jeff, Denah, Hope, and Faith Davis; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many other friends.
The family will receive friends at Gate City Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Davis and Pastor Tiger Brooks officiating. Miranda Nottingham and Tommy and Vickie Austin will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Jackie Page, Roger Page, Harvey Page, Randall Page, Phillip Page, Collin Page, and Jim Nottingham will serve as pallbearers. Bill Johnson, Robert Price, John Raber, and Dave Cabe will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the Gate City Funeral Home at 12:15 p.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.

The family requests donations can be made to The National Ruritan Foundation; specifically to the Bell Ridge Ruritan Educational Fund, c/o, Sharon Page, 157 West Ridge Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the family requests that anyone attending the visitation, service, or graveside service wear a mask and follow the social distancing protocol.
