Charlotte Ann Neeley, 70, Kingsport, TN passed away, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Sullivan County, TN on December 14, 1948 to the late Ira Lee and Samantha Ellen Harless McDavid.
In addition to her parents, her sisters, Linda Louise McDavid, Nelly McPeters, Betty Davenport; brothers, Howard and Alvin McDavid preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. Willie Neeley Sr., Kingsport, TN; daughter, Sandra Light and husband, Mike , Kingsport, TN; sons, Willie Neeley Jr “Bub” and wife, Renea, Blountville, TN, David Neeley and wife, Megan, Rogersville, TN; sister, Mildred Duncan Arnold, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dewey Shaffer, Rev. Jerry Scalf and Rev. Jackie Frazier officiating. True Faith and David Tipton will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Roberts Cemetery, in the Goode Hollow area of Clinchport, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and Friends are asked to meet 9:15a.m, Monday, August 12, 2019 at the funeral home to go in procession to the graveside service.
The family would like to thank the caring nurses in the ICU of the Holston Valley Medical Center for the kindness they had shown to Charlotte and her family.
