Nancy Jane (Thompson) Livesay, 68, Duffield, VA passed away, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her residence after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was born in Kingsport, TN on April 29, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Houston and Anna Mae (Rhoton) Williams.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great friend to many, especially the elderly and their families whom she cared for during her life.
In addition to her parents, her daughter, Sabrina Michelle Thompson preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband, Roy Jeter, son, Scott Thompson and wife, Melisa, grandchildren, Kristina Thompson, Ramon Espino, Tony Espino, Emily Thompson, and Zachary Salyer, great grandchildren, Rashad Amari Menya and Alyviah Briella Thompson, and her fur babies, Maybelle, Tiko, Chloe, and Silas
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Mickey Gibson officiating. Anthony and Melissa Henry will provide the music.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
