Michael Christopher Darnell, 34, Kingsport, TN, passed away, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his residence.

Michael was born in Kingsport, TN, on May 29, 1991, and was the son of Micheal Dale Darnell, and Lisa (Winesett) Darnell.

Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Walker and Ruth Darnell; and maternal grandparents, Anna Ruth and Delmoe Jessee, and James Woodrow Winesett.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Michael and Lisa Darnell; wife, Gracie (Boggs) Darnell; daughter, Harper Darnell; son, Christian Darnell; and brother, Brayden Jackson Darnell.

Micheal’s wishes were to be cremated; A visitation will be conducted from 5-7p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Cowan’s Branch Missionary Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be conducted at 7:00p.m., with Rev. Wayne McCarty and Rev. Jeremy Ketron officiating. Rev. Jeremy Ketron will provide the music.
