Sharon McNew, 61, Kingston, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 8, 2018.

She was a member of Abundant Life Foursquare Gospel Church. Sharon worked many years at Bristol Memorial Hospital in the Human Resources Department. She loved teaching Bible Study.

Mrs McNew is survived by her husband, Ken McNew, Kingston, TN; daughter, Heather Crouse, Stickleyville, VA; Grandson, Jacob Crouse; mother, Etta M. Smyth, Kingsport, TN; brother, Michael Smyth, Danville, VA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Abundant Life Foursquare Gospel Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Stickrod officiating.

The body will then be taken to Harvest Christian Fellowship in Bristol, Tennessee where the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Glenn Family Cemetery in Russell County, Virginia. The family will be meeting at Gate City Funeral Home in Gate City, Virginia to go in procession to the cemetery. The family requests those wishing to attend the graveside service should meet at the funeral home no later than 11:00 a.m.
