Larry Edward McMillan, 72, Kingsport, TN passed away, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Edward was born in Dayton, OH on April 11, 1947 to the late Guy and Georgia McMillan.
He retired from Tennessee Eastman as a security guard. He most recently worked as a dump truck driver for Mark’s Grading.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Jimmy McMillan preceded him in death.
Surviving are his sisters, Faye Williams, Blountville, TN and Peggy Daugherty and husband, Wayne, Kingsport, TN; nephew, Stephen Williams and wife, Beverly and niece, Angie Williams.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Eddie McAmis and Rev. Winston Johnson officiating. Beverly Williams will provide the music.
It was the wish of Edward to be cremated.
