Mrs. Donna Jean McClellan, 42, Gate City, VA passed away, Friday, June 27, 2008 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. McClellan was born in Ohio, on September 24, 1965, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Shupe Chapman. She was a former employee of Jack's Market. She attended Lawson Memorial Church.
She is survived by her husband, Michael "Jody" McClellan, Gate City, VA, daughter, Holly Amber Egan, Ft. Blackmore, VA, son, Michael Carter Egan, Ft. Blackmore, VA, a step-son, Michael Todd McClellan, Gate City, VA, grandson, Brandon Egan, her lovely pet, Spencer, sisters, Ruth Looney, Elyria, OH, Ruby Turner, Warren, OH, Jackie Johnson, Elyria, OH, Cathy Hudnell, Oberlin, OH, Nancy Kay Best, Vermillion, OH, Carol Ann Myers, Lagrange, OH, brothers, Ralph Chapman, Jr., Grafton, OH, Darrel Chapman, Mount Olive, NC and Trevor Chapman, Duffield, VA along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Marion and Mytle Egan, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Brother Ralph Owens, Pastor Mack Daugherty, Brother Allen Lawson, Brother Lennis France and Brother Carl Dorton officiating. New Grace Trio and Teresa Dorton will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Craft Cemetery in the Alley Valley community of Scott County, VA. Dave Kersinger, Tony McClellan, Trevor Chapman, Ray Chapman, Terry McClellan and Jay Egan will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
