Marvin Daniel Lane – Nickelsville, VA

Marvin Daniel “Danny” Lane, 67, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Friday, June 20, 2025, at his residence.

Danny was born in Kingsport, TN on April 18, 1958, and was the son of the late George Decatur and Naomi Faye (Culbertson) Lane.

He was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force with 20 years of service, an avid reader, a great cook, a motorcycle and safety instructor, and a lover of all animals, and so much more.

In addition to his parents, his special aunt, Thelma Culbertson, a special uncle, D.J. Culbetson along with several other aunts and uncles preceded him in death.

Danny is survived by his son, Brendan Lane, sisters, Joyce Lane and David Allen, and Kathleen Lane, along with several aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Lane Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. for the graveside service.
