Mark Oney – Kingsport, TN

Mark Glenn Oney, 63, Kingsport, TN passed away, Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mark was born on August 4, 1962, in Kingsport, TN and was the son of Pauline (Glenn) Oney and the late William Oney.

In addition to his father, his mother-in-law, Nancy Hood, sister-in-law, Barbara Gail Bradley, and his brother-in-law, Albert Fraklin Hood preceded him in death.

Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary (Hood) Oney, daughter, Alisha Salyers and her kids, brother, Gregory Oney and wife, Kay, sister-in-law, Penny Hood, uncle and aunt, Able and Amelia Oney, his fur baby, Cheyenne, along with five nephews and many friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Reynolds Cemetery in Duffield, VA with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating. David, Rhonda, Ronnie, and Tara will provide the music.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m., for the graveside service.
