Mark Hale – Nickelsville, VA

Mark Anthony Hale, 51, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his residence.

Mark was born in Russell County, VA on May 9, 1971, and was the son of the late Kelly and Mary (Farmer) Hale.

He was a fun-loving soul who loved his family and bluegrass music. His gentle funny ways will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Sammy Hale preceded him in death.

Mark is survived by his children, Kourtney Hale, and Alex Hale and fiancée, McKenzie, grandchildren, Luka and Keston, step grandchildren, Allaya and Allison, sisters, Linda (Jessie) Clevenger, Elizabeth Finch, Joann Culbertson, and Ruby Culbertson, brothers, James, Ronnie, David and Fred Hale, a special niece, Jennifer Culbertson, and special great nieces, Brittany, Kayla and Kelsey and great nephew, Timothy, special friends, Cochy, Ozz, and Cynthia Imler, and step children, Shalena (Josh) Sloan and Brittany Imler, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Hale Cemetery in Twin Springs, Nickelsville, VA. Cochy, Ozz, Danny Stansberry, Alex Hale, Tony Addington, and Randy Sluss will serve as pallbearers.

Friends are asked to meet at the Hale Cemetery at 12:45 p.m., Sunday for the graveside service.
