Georgia Light- 86 — entered into rest December 28, 2007 at Sunbridge Hillside Manor Nursing Home. Born in Scott county, VA on November 10, 1921 to the late Arthur and Claudia Frazier Ketron.
In addition to her parents her husband, James Curtis Light, two brothers and two sisters precedes her in death.
Surviving are her daughter and son ?in ?law; Linda and J.C. Hobbs of Bristol, TN.
A son and daughter ? in ? law; Jack and Maryetta Light of Nashville, TN.
6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Milligan Herron officiating. Music will be provided by
Dennie Haynes and Todd Hensley.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, December 31, 2007 at 12:00 p.m.
at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Jay Light, Cliff Light, Travis Tomlinson, Jeremiah Hobbs, Clinton Hensley and Bill Upchurch will serve as pallbearers.
The family and friends will be meeting at the cemetery for graveside services.
