Michael Lane, 61, of Hiltons, VA passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020 at his residence.
Michael was born in Scott County, VA on August 21, 1959 to the late Charles Howard and Laura Ellen “Granny” Lane.
In addition to his parents; sister, Bea Kilgore; brothers, infant brother, Ernie Lane, Glen Lane, J.D. Lane, Bill Lane, Gary Lane, Danny Lane also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Sexton (Joseph), Gate City, VA, Kendra Smith (Brandon), Nickelsville, VA; son, Michael Steven Lane; grandchildren; Alec Finch, Brady Finch, Cameron Roe, Elaina Smith, and Ensley Smith; sisters, Helen Lyons, Weber City, VA, Geraldine Folden (Ernest), Bloomingdale, TN, Kay Folden, Weber City, VA, Loreen Folden (Ivan), Fall Branch, TN; brother, Jr. Lane (Anita) Lebanon, IN; sisters-in-law, Linda Lane, Mary Lane, Brenda Lane, Carol Lane, Dory Lane; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special thank you to his sister-in-law, Brenda Lane, for helping to care for Michael, also to Debbie Goode for her loyal friendship.
The family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
