Jimmy was born in Gate City, VA on July 18, 1954 and was the son of the late James Ira and Margaret (Lane) Lane.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Bobby, Ralph, Roy, and Teddy Lane preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Stacy Lane, Bristol, VA; sisters, Martha Kendrick, Gate City, VA, and Linda (Lane) Sanders and husband, Glenn, Hiltons, VA; brother, Tony Randall Lane, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
