Kolon was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada on May 25, 1959, and was the son of Darlene (Black) and the late Ray Arnold Kedziora.
In addition to his mother, Darlene Kedziora, San Angelo, TX, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Louise Kedziora, Duffield, VA, sister, Crystal Kedziora, and brother, Alex Kedziora, stepson, David Rowe, Duffield, VA, stepdaughters, Carol Rowe and Mary Rowe, both of North Carolina, and Nahoma Asbury, Tazewell, VA, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
