John Calvin Ketron

John C. Ketron, 81, Kingsport, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.

John was born in Blountville, TN, on December 1, 1944, to the late Edsel H. and Louise (Harlan) Ketron.

He is survived by his wife Dionesia B. Ketron; daughter, Darlene Denton (Dustin); sons, Mark Ketron (Patricia), John Ketron (Belinda); grandchildren, David, Laura, Billy, Jason (Amanda) Ketron, Davin and Dyson Denton; great grandchildren, Mason, Larson and Maeleigh Ketron.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2025, in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home with Rev. Genis Butler officiating.

Burial will follow the service at the Eastlawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
