Jo Ann Elliott, 71, Gate City, VA, passed away, Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN.

Jo Ann was born June 12, 1954, in Sullivan County, TN and was the daughter of the late Euel Seaver and Mary (Wilson) Elliott.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Marshall Seaver Elliott preceded her in death.

She was currently employed by BAE Systems and had been for many years. Jo Ann loved her job and took great pride in her work.

Jo Ann loved gardening, birds, cooking and dogs. She was an amazing aunt, sister, friend and dog mom.

Jo Ann will always be remembered as a special person who would always go out of her way to help others. Her sweet smile and cheerful disposition touched everyone she knew.

Surviving is her niece, Shannon (Anthony) Miller; nephew, Seaver Elliott; brother, Dr. Euel Wilson Elliott and wife, Dr. Jayshree Bihari; great niece and nephew, Victoria and Jaxson Miller; her loyal companion, Lilly;P along with many friends.

Graveside services will be conducted with family and close friends at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
