Luther James "L.J." Comer, 66, Gate City, VA passed away, Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Comer was born in Scott County, VA on February 25, 1945, son of the late Hal Comer and the late Ella Eva Salyer.
Surviving is his wife, Lucille Clark Comer, Gate City, VA; daughter, Linda Comer; son, Tony G. Simpson formerly known as Luther James "Buddy" Comer, Jr.; step son, Robert Clark, Gate City, VA; sisters, Betty Davis, Gastonia, NC, Maybell Lampkins, Castlewood, VA, and Lizzie Jewel Sykes, Marion, NC; 3 grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
