Carolyn Lee Ison, 77. Kingsport, TN and formerly of Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, September 23, 2019 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Carolyn was born in Scott County, VA on August 10, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Betty Jane (Casteel) Ison.
In addition to her parents, her sister, Norma Ison McDavid, niece, Lea McDavid Davis, and nephew, Jeff McDavid preceded her in death.
Surviving is her sister, Delores Ison Moore, Hiltons, VA; brother, Lowell Kelly Ison, Gate City, VA; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
