Myron Darius Hillman, 88, Dungannon, VA passed away, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Darius was born in Dungannon, VA on June 5, 1932 and was the son of the late W. J. and Kate (Osborne) Hillman.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, his sisters; Shirley Cassell, Beulah Stewart, and Bonnie Salling; and brothers, Edgar, Mont, James, Bill, Charles, Lee, and John preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara “Sam” Hillman; daughter, Leah Michelle Hillman; son, Michael D. Hillman and wife, Misty; grandchildren, Hayden, Alec, Parker, and Allison; sister, Irma Quillin; brother, Allen Hillman, and wife. Mary; along with many beloved nieces and nephews; special friend, Earl Osborne; and many, many other dear friends.
A Funeral Mass and service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Gate City Funeral Home with Father Timothy Drake and Dr. Todd Cassell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Dungannon, VA.

Military graveside services will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the V.A. Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN, conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3, Kingsport, TN and Post #265, Gate City, VA assisted by members of the Virginia Army National Guard Honors Team.
