Patsy Ruth Owens Hilbert, 87, of Kingsport passed away at Holston Manor Nursing Home May 1, 2019.
Patsy was born in Scott County, VA on May 27, 1931 to the late Stafford and Naomi Pierson Owens.
In addition to her parents; her husband; Bryan Hagan Hilbert; sister, Jerry Jennings and brother, Elmo Owens preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Hilbert Elam and husband, Leo, Kingsport, TN; son, Alan Hilbert and wife, Joyce, Greenville, SC; daughter, Teresa Hilbert Martin, Kingsport, TN; son, Marty Hilbert and wife, Teresa, Kingsport, TN; sister, Velma Owens; along with her grandchildren, Bryan and Tyler Elam, Ian and wife, Brittany Hilbert, Katy Hilbert, William Martin and 2 great grandchildren, Mia and Wyatt Hilbert.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Richie Hayes officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hunger First, 829 Myrtle St., Kingsport, Tn 37660 or to Shades of Grace, 313 E. Sullivan St, Kingsport, TN 37660.
