Juralyn was born in the Philippines on May 23, 1982 to the late Benito Pelenio and Celsa Ranara Pelenio. She was of the Catholic faith.
Juralyn is survived by her husband James Hicks, Fayetteville, NC; daughters Ashley Samantha and Stacy Christine Hicks both of Fayetteville, NC; mother Celsa Ranara Pelenio, Philippines; sister, Cecile Pelenio, OK; brother, Homer Pelenio, Philippines; along with 1 niece and 3 nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Gate City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel at 7:00 p.m., with Father Tim Drake officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the VA Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those who wish to go in procession to the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m., Thursday.
