Hercel Ray Greene ? Ocala, FL Hercel Ray Greene, 77 of Ocala, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Greene retired from AT&T in Dayton, OH after 33 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He moved to Ocala from Rutledge, TN in 2002. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He is survived by his companion, Carol Sue McCoy Gray of Ocala, FL, his daughter, Teresa Carol Greene Stanley and her husband, Lee of Wooster, OH, son, Paul William Greene and his wife, Sandy of Richmond, IN, three grandsons, David and Jon Stanley and Matthew Greene, brother-in-law, Charles Dagnan of Ocala, FL and sister-in-law, Betty Greene, Quantico, VA. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Duncan officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at11:00 a.m.,at the Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, VA on Saturday, March 8, 2008, with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post # 3 of Kingsport, TN and #265 of Gate City, VA. Paul Greene, Lee Stanley, Bobby Lee Mullins, Bob Johnson and Granville Dagnan will serve as pallbearers.
