Glynna Carol Compton Honeycutt, 70, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Monday, July 17, 2023, at her residence.
Born in Sullivan County, TN on April 26, 1953, to Glenn and Lois Cress Dingus Compton.
In addition to her parents, her brother Alden “AL” Compton preceded her in death.
She is survived by her partner in crime, Glen Honeycutt; daughter, Amy Honeycutt Barret and husband, John; sisters, Jami Wanda Hatchell and husband, William “Buddy”, Sherry Compton Steffey and husband, Emmitt, Kathy Compton Angle and husband, Bob, and Jeanie Dingus Tate; brothers, Jiles Compton, Johnny Dingus and wife, Susan; 8 nieces, 7 nephews, 12 great nephews, 19 great nieces, 2 great-great nephews, 5 great-great nieces; along with several friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
